WE REJOICE IN CHRIST

What is the Church and Kingdom of God?

Many disciples of Christ trace their belief back to the restoration done by Joseph Smith. These are often called Mormons. Though not all Mormons call themselves the same church, the Lord has promised to "gather them as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, if they will not harden their hearts.... [For] whosoever repenteth and cometh unto me, the same is my church" (D&C 10:65, 67). In God's eyes, his church and kingdom is larger than any one, man-made division. Where some portion of his restored priesthood exists, there is a part of the body of Christ.

WE PREACH OF CHRIST

"Know what you worship" (D&C 94:19).

God the Father
God, as the father of our spirits, is named Michael, and, as the father of our bodies, is named Adam. Eve, the Mother of All Living, is a Heavenly Mother and joined Adam on this world to bring us physical life. They together are among the Elohim.
In the Name of the Son
Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten of the Father, a covenant term, sired by the Father in the meridian of time. Having wrought out the salvation of all, Jesus is the heir of this world and, after his resurrection, obtained the title of Jehovah.
Through Revelation
Joseph Smith Jr. restored the truths that once belonged to Israel and the patriarchs of old, bringing heaven down to earth and earth up to heaven, witnessing of the true natures of the Father and of the Son.
Accorded to Scripture
The law and the prophets were never to be destroyed but fulfilled. We know what we worship because of the revelations given to past prophets (ancient and modern), which do gain value over time.
